Alhamdulillah, we are safe from the land slide.

We heard about the land slide news at about 7:00am this morning. Thank you to all of my friends who called me this morning. Thank you again for your do'a. We are all safe, here in Taman Bukit Mulia. Those affected housing area are Taman Bkt Mewah, Taman Wangsa Ukay, Taman Bukit Jaya, Kyoto Garden, Impian Selatan Condo, Oakleaf Park Condo and Taman Bukit Jaya. We are going back to Kuantan for eid adha this evening, insyaaAllah. Let us all pray for the safety of the rest of the 5000 residence on the hill. I will update for the photos later, insyaaAllah. Selamat menyambut hari raya Aidil Adha.

About 2 weeks ago, I managed to get in-touch with my long lost friend Dewi Rosnita on facebook. Been searching for her high and low on the net. At last found her on facebook. Thank you http://www.facebook.com/! The last time I met her was somewhere in 1988/89. She was my class-mate of 4 Science 2 (1986) and 5 Science 2 (1987) in St. Mary's Secondary School, Jln Tengah off Jln P.Ramlee, KL. Once we got connected, hooked on the phone for hours catching up with old and updated gossips huhuhu.

Last week, we made up our mind to meet-up after her working hours. The date and time was set for 26 Nov, 6pm @ The Curve. Aida wanted to join, so she did. In fact, Malidza and Aniza was there too.

We had our Dinner at TGI Friday, The Curve. Earlier on, Aniza was there too but since we were busy catching-up with each others' stories...terlupa pulak nak snap photos. Aida's daughter Tasha and my daughter Nani was with us as well. Thank you Nani...for the photos ;-)

We had a surprise birthday party for our neighbour Khalizah. It was her 21st birthday, married to Bob Azrai Kamaruddin and now she is 6 months pregnant to their second child. The birthday party was organized by our lovely neighbour Farhanah and her husband Dr.Malek, Mona the Cupcake Lady, Yasmin and not to forget Khalizah's husbands and the kids. Its a Bali theme party and everyone dressed-up in white.

Gitu lah kami di Villaria ni...memaaang mesra alam gitu! Apa-apa party, just dont forget the kids. They help a lot. Tolong makan, tolong sebuk and tolong kemas. Alhamdulillah

A few get-to-gathers; tahlil, birthday, farewell gathering...etc (Part 1)

School holidays are still on the moves and it has been 10 days since I last updated this blog. While 'buzying' with the kids as always (the number of kids may vary time to time as I always have friends' kids & nieces & nephews around) and it's more or less like an annual thing to me. We had and went for a few gatherings or we may call it 'functions' in between hehehe. Definitely IT IS a very tiring school holidays!

A farewell kenduri at Kak Zihan's place in Tmn Bkt Jaya, Bkt Antarabangsa. Kak Zihan & family are moving to Australia for a couple of years. Her husband...Muttalib Ibrahim (elder brother to Dato Dr Mashitah Ibrahim) is working for Alcatel and he got posted to work in Melbourne. We're going to miss her & family for sure. Unfortunately, I dont have her picture to paste it here.

At birthday party in Kota Damansara. It was Nadeem 1st birthday. Nadeem is Hamidi's (my husband a.k.a. PCK) grand-nephew. Before that...at noon, we went to an engagement kenduri in Subang and rushed to Kota Damansara for Nadeem's birthday party.

Hubby's get-to-gather at one of his friend's house in Bangi. They were students of Sekolah Datuk Abdul Razak, Seremban year 69-74. Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! I know, they are all in Anlene Gold category (51 & above) hehehe! We stayed there til nite. Perform our maghrib solah there. The guys berjemaah...& the ladies nafsi-nafsi (sdn bhd). Basicly, we had tea & dinner at one go.

My recent get-to-gather with a few of my x-schoolmates

Hmm...dah lama rasanya tak update blog yang tak seberapa ni. My younger sister Lina was suggesting that I have two versions of this blog. One in Bahasa Melayu and the other one in English. Baaanyak lah! Liiiiikeee I have plenty of time to do it. Yang ada ni pun, dah terseliuh terkucil jari and vocabnya. Anyway, about two weeks ago Aida (my x-schoolmate) and I planned to have a small gathering. All the while, it was Aida who always make the effort to organize it. So, this time she wants me to do it. OK! OK! OOwwhh riiitte...I'll do it. On Friday, 31st October I've started to send out emails to our friends. This is how the email looked like:

Hmm...after a week (by Friday 7 Nov) approximately 20 people confirmed their attendance. But, the week that we're going to have the party...a few of them started send me emails & SMSs to cancel. Siigghh...(I guess this is pretty normal!) Aku dah gabrah, as I need at least 20 pax just to meet the club's requirement to have the hi-tea just for us. To save-guard my a**...I invited six of my 'bkt antarabangsa gang' to join us and they were all 'on me' :-) 12 x-St.Marians plus Aida's & my husband make us all 20 pax.

Thank you girls, for the wonderful day! You've made it...Alhamdulillah and insyaaAllah, we are going to have another one next year. According to Aida, it's going to be a big one! Let us pray for it.

The 1st day of school holidays

Today...such a hectic day for us (me)...because it's the 1st day of school holidays. Here how the story goes...


Lastnite or the nites before...so on and so forth, I'll be with my 2nd soul partner i.e. the virtual world...the hardware & the software etc etc. Whenever my kids have gone to bed, I'll start living in my virtual world huhuhu...and this is my "work station" & that are some of my books collection.

At times...these are my two angels who always accompany me 'til the middle of the nite. Nani & Harraz always fell asleep at the living area and I had to carry them to the bedroom or wake them up and asked them to go in. And this is their 'work station' hehehe















My day started not too early today...because it's a school holiday. The 1st meal of the day...we had it at about 10am...because it's a school holiday. Ina, our kids and I went to have breakfast at NZ Curry House in Wangsa Maju (next to Carrefour Wangsa Maju)

Kesian kat Papanya...terpaksa breakfast sorang-sorang. My "Puah Chu Kang" left early to work, when I called him at about 11am, he said he's having breakfast at KELfood Restaurant (kelantan food) in Taman Melati. So, to surprise him...I drove to that place with my kids. It's about 5 minutes from NZ.

My husband's car had to been send to the workshop...because it's a school hoilday. So, I had to drive him to run some errands. We went to Taman Maluri to see his supplier then to KLCC to cash a cheque at CIMB klcc branch. Only my 3 kids were with us i.e. Hazim, Nani & Harraz. We had lunch at Burger King klcc.

On our way home from KLCC, my car was out of petrol and we stopped at SHELL petrol station nearby Bukit Antarabangsa, along Jalan Hulu Kelang at pump no.8. That's my husband favorite pump because it has this 'tyre air pump' attached to it. Something quite bad happened. The nozzle did not detect that petrol has filled up my tank and it did not stop by itself but instead over-flowed from my car petrol tank and PCK did not notice as he was filling up the tyre air....look at these photos...

Alhamdulillah...it did not explode!! Na'uzubillahi minzalik...

We wanted to go to Tesco straight away (from klcc) but since we have not performed our 'Asar prayer, so we made up our mind to just go home and will do the Tesco thing after maghrib. At about 8pm, we all left to Tesco to get my groceries done (again) and kids are kids...they always picked-up things off the rack like nobody's business. All of us (hubby, my 5 kids & I) had dinner at Santai, Tesco Ampang. That's about all for this hectic day...and we still have 7 more weeks to go!
